Just picked up a set of 710N BPV, should I be able to push the piston up/down by hand cause mine

Default Just picked up a set of 710N BPV, should I be able to push the piston up/down by hand cause mine

wont move?

Default try not covering the vacuum stem with your other hand

Default are you sure you are actually contacting the diaphragm?

it its pretty high up inside the housing

I usually use a highlighter or pen, to push the diaphragm up

and look into the side port to see hoow far it moves

it's just not possible for that light-weight thing not to move

Default Both my failed stock valves and the replacement Bailey valves...

could be moved with my finger, but they were both very stiff/difficult to move. Push hard and it should move.

Default If I look in it from the larger opening the diaphragm looks to be pushed up already. I will try to

push down to see if their is free movement. I wanted to keep the BPV stock to avoid warranty pblms, but if these don't work I may go with aftermarket.

Default Suck on the vacuum pipe, it should go up a bit.

Depends how much you can suck :P.
It should move, regardless.
