Default Just put in the X-Chip, a couple questions though...

From 1K to 3K RPM no noticeable difference. But then right around 3000 the car just seems to explode into a BEAST!! Totally smooth power all the way through, no 'hiccups' of any sort. My car really sounds like it is screaming and it's kinda scary since I've never heard it make noises like that before. A few questions though:
- Has turbo lag increased? I ask b/c I never noticed such a dramatic shift b/w no power and SUPER power at the beginning of 1st gear, then a split second at the start of 2nd.
- When I get off the gas for a second (not WOT, just steady) I feel a very slight 'thud', kinda like an finicky automatic tranny downshifts (even though I have a 6-spd). Does anyone know what this is?
Tx

Default The thud is driveline lash. You are twisting everything that twists!

get a driveline stabilizer and most of it goes away.

Default Solutions:

You need to do a VAG ADP via DataBlock 060 will smooth out the acceleration greatly!

As for the thud..time for a DriveLine Stabilizer..very common even in the stock S4.

Default the thud could be...

the sound of your warranty as it dissappears from your car! or maybe a snub mount?

Get an exhaust to get rid of the sandblaster sound.

Default Yup, I know what you mean.

Try the AWE DTS. That's exactly what it's designed to remedy.

YES! You have to watch the X-files now. That's the price you pay for boost , Scully.
