Default just raced my boy in new m3 e 46

sunset blvd 110mph, No traffic!!
dam those m's are fast
I got the jump but he really started catching me real fast in top of third and early fourth, had to break hard for serious turn at lake shrine. Was a real close one. The turn is a down hill, off camber hard right. Had the avant side ways into the turn and smashed the gas, the car tracked real well when got back on the gas. The m3 was on my bumper. My buddy's m3 is bone stock, and I have koni's with intrax and 19 inch sportec's. Outcome? This one was too close to call, but there will be plenty more of these to come. Makes me want to get into our shifter karts at Willow and do some real racing.

Default "sideways in the turn"... do you have that dumb *** esp? was it on?

Are you Damon's bro?

BTW, before some one jumps on me about esp being dumb... I don't mean when you're jolly driving in the snow or rain. I mean it's dumb when you are 'performance driving'!! Controled drifting is a good thing once in a while if you know what your doing! Can't do that with esp on!! Damn esp!! I always forget to turn it off, unless I'm about to bang a cyn or drag... then I'll usually remember.

Performance drivers should have the option the other way around... off all the time and on by a switch for the rain or snow.

And please spare me about 'performance driving' lectures on the street - I don't want to hear it.

I need to call you... I think. It's Dave in Thousand Oaks. I hear you are taking care of things while D is surfing the Mexi pipe. the phucker... so jealous! I was thinking of cruising out the pp way tomorrow at lunch through Decker, especially if your available and helping out your bro.

Hit my e-mail so that I can call you if it's cool.

Default Why don't you just get him out on a Tues. night in the valley...

That's where the real racing goes off. Not the hillside grand prix that bangs up your car.

Plus you can hang out with the rest of us at the El Torito... support the Audi contingent

Or at least take your buddy to an Open-Track event and show him what's up in a controlled environment.

Default Wow, Love those seats! I didn't realize how heavy the stock ones are...

till I had to take one out to put in a 4pt harness. You prob lost 100 lbs by replacing them.

Got any more pics?
