In stock form the transmission actully moves if the up is shaked up bad enough.
One time at Big willow going into turn one. A heavy braking from 120mph+ down to 70-80, not sure about the exact # but trust me it was a braking from very hi-speed down to hi-speed. I shifted from 5th to 3nd and when I moved the shifter to where 3nd use to be, there was nothing there. I had to balance the car and wait till the transmission to come back. I almost pissed in my pants and thought I left the tranmission at turn 9.
