Just spent $256 on a new fog light . Could have got so many other things. Damn...

Default Just spent $256 on a new fog light . Could have got so many other things. Damn...
My lens was cracked so I wanted to replace it. The lens doesn't come alone. $152 (fog light) + $83 (labor) + $21 (tax) = $256. I'm so pissed.

I'm ordering APR Chip this week and could have got the bi-pipe. Now I have to save up again.

I had it done while it was in service. My mistake. Won't happen again.

Default I hate to say this, but...YOU'VE BEEN ROBBED!
A new foglight housing is like $130 from clairparts, and the install is a 5 min DIY

Default That sucks. My service rep ALWAYS calls to tell what is being done beforehand.
Serious, that $85 you just spent was for maybe, maybe 3 minutes worth of work.

Tough luck man.

Default $21 in tax? What , do you live in Switzerland?
In every state I know, you cannot tax labor and how you can get 21$ of tax out of a $152 part, I'll never know (13.8% tax!).

The part is usually $120 and it takes roughly 5-10 minutes to install.

I can find out the audi spec for fog light install for you, and it will not be 1.1 hours.

1 minute or 1 hour of labor still = 1 hour of labor price. Stupid I know
