Just thought the list would like to know that last night, I blew out my TBB for the first time. My
car is modified (GIAC chip, VM1, LLTEK intake, etc...), and the performance loss was noticeable in the 4000+RPM under "vigorous" acceleration. I got it replaced immediately in the morning, and there was a large, 1 1/2 inch tear on the damn part. ****, I thought I was going to get away without this happening to me! The car has 9000 miles, and I am on order - first set of orders with Todd @ AWE - (thank God) for the Bailey Blowoff Valves. The symptons were typical with everyone else on the board who has had this happen. I was actually the first to have it happen with my dealer.

A special thank you to DonP (or whoever else was responsible for the Audi Zone website).
I printed the area that was dedicated to the TBB out, and gave it to my dealer. They are all getting a copy of it.

that IS the problem. Everyone is changing their own so AoA claims no knowledge of bad TBBs
