Just an update on my tip trans work...
 

Sam @ 517 took care of my torque converter and valve body this week for me. He confirmed that my previous "build" of the valve body consisted of some home depot washers to firm up shifts. He also told me my torque converter was 100% stock...completely unmodified.

Chalk another one up...guess who "built" it for me the first time? LAWLz money. Just another thread for the archives.

How much for the valve body work? How does it drive?
 

He did my TC. Its been in a year and 12k miles with no problems. I should have went a little higher on the stall speed though.

$700. Don't have it back together quite yet. Next weekend hopefully!

Please try to find out what parts they purchased and from where.
