First of all, thanks to those of you who listened to my car for me (Taner, LMS4, biTurbo etc.) and those of you who offered your advice.

It turned out that both my turbos blew. According to AB, they were being starved of oil do to some sort of malfunction and broke-down. I couldn't get anymore information than that, and I wasn't able to actually see them. I took the car in on Monday, and got it back yesterday.

Very quick turn-around - I guess my very obvious displeasure had some impact.

All I can say, is that my car hasn't felt like this in many, many months. I think about 5 months to be exact.

Power delivery is smooth, and there is tons of it. No more crazy sounds, intermittent losses of power etc. And of course, no more billows of white smoke.

I'll just cross my fingers and hope this doesn't happen again. The sad part is, I'm driving like a granny now because I'm worried about having to go through this tortous expereience with Audi sometime in the future.

Anyways - that's how it ended after 3 months of being told I was hearing things, and that nothing was wrong etc.

except this is due to dealers F'Up with blowing 2 heads on the motor, causing them to replace the entire top end of the motor..

Sad but True (((Sigh))))
