K04 Tiptronic (Transmission Cooler & RS4 Oil Cooler) *Mad Bandwidth*
 

Got the car back on the weekend from D&N in Miami, they did a pretty top notch install had to customize a few things like the condensor fan n stuff overall I am pretty happy. The Trans cooler is a B&M unit (RACE) with custom made hydralic hoses THe fittings screw right into the factory lines. Comes from the Radiator into the cooler back to the tranny. I am going to collect some data soon (Before n After coolers) I also filled the car with Distilled water & Purple Ice see how that works out. On Monday the car will be going back for new Cam Seals, Timing Belt, Water pump, etc etc etc basicly Maint. Here are some pix of the install Enjoy!.

I didn't think a Tiptronic tranny could handle K04 power...

he is the first Level 10 modified tip on AW.

Ah... level 10 would solve that problem indeed.

Here's someone doing truly pioneering work (and not just larger impeller blades, scary boost pressures or bigger manifolds). If only we had a hall-of-fame page !

P.S. All that exposed piping on the under-belly of the car is VERY scary ! Please invest $50 in some covers - I want you to retain hero status ;-)

haha ya going to lift that stuff up I removed the belly pan in the name of cooling =\ I am going to run some scary boost pressures though! =]

aren't the cooling benefits of removing the pan in dispute?

However, do you think a custom tranny cooler is a "mustbe"? or just relocate the stock one?
