Default Kahn RS-S 18x8, ET33 - what size tire?

I would love to get something wider than 225 - so what width and profile would be best? What is everyone else getting?

Thanks!

Default 225/40/18 S03PP's shon...

S03's are generally wider than your average tire of the same size anyway. 235/40/18 S03's are barely larger than 225's as far as the contact patch at the cost of having a larger (slower =P) rolling diameter. 224/40/18's are virtually identical to stock rolling diameter.

RSS with 225/40/18 S03PP's. Ka-ching. Sold.

what do you care? these aren't track shoes... they're for looks and screaming up and down 294 at midnight right?

Default true, not for the track...

but I really like the way the 235's on my comps fill out the fenders. I guess 235s fit better on an 8.5" wide wheel, tho. For 18x8, it sounds like 225/40/18 is the way to go.
