no they aren't, kkko4 motorsports have a more aggressive wheel and the inlet is larger

Default according to my research they are the very same beast!...
no need for a debate, I have seen pics of both. They even share the same exact part #.

My source??? KKK is my source for the info, as well as knowledgable sources in germany and the UK. I have been researching this for some time now. If I'm wrong, I'd be happy to see what you are basing your conclusion on!

I am researching a Upgraded K04 sport/RS4 oem that has dual oil seals and more aggressive propellers.... An upgraded K04 sport if you will.

Default Check your KKK specs again. K04=4mm shaft, K04 Sport=5mm shaft. Other impellar differences as well.
One of the reasons the Sports are more desireable - more robust internally.
