Lease length: 30months vs 36 months. Opinions?
I'm thinking about how my next lease lines up with the next generation S4. Ideally my lease would end 6 months after launch of the next gen to avoid dealer gouging at launch. Thoughts?

you can do 24mo...
it works out to be about $1000/mo including 8% tax. I did this with Imola but the problem is that you start considering ONE day in the shop or out of service an outrage because you only have the car for 730 days! You can imagine why I lemoned it the day after it had been out of service for 30 days.
I prefer short-term leases because part of the whole point of leasing is because you change cars and ALWAYS have a payment and don't really use the "equity" in the car (if it has any).

Best Rates seem to be on 39 month term plus...
if you get 15k/yr, that works out very close to the warranty mileage. I just got mine like that, 0 down, 640/mo. They have special money factors and the loyalty program until 9/30/01. On a lease, they waive the acq fee(about 450) and the 1st month pmnt1
