It may work... risky
Audi has a common Bell-Housing interface so pretty much anything can be made to fit anything as long as it fits within the bay ;-)
Here's how to tell Tranny model number

Looking at ETKA it appears the parts for FAQ & EMP are identical. However it would probably take a different ECU.
To be sure I would ask Audi & ZF specialists for their opinion.
There are FAQ tranny's for sale ask VegaS4

Just talked to LevelTen....
Even though their site has the parts available on it they claim they no longer sell them and the only way to get it is to have them build it for $3850 + shippnig ($450 each way in my case so total of $4,750)
This just seems WAY high to me for any transmission. It does not include removal/install either.
In general it just seems they are doing a rebuild with better clutches and more hydrolic pressure on those clutches. Maybe making it shift harder to feel more stout. People are often happy with "stronger" shifts but those eventually break hard parts in the transmission.
I have built several Autos and have several very qualified friends that would help. So I just wanted to order their parts and do it myself. Seems this is not an option from what they told me today. I personally "think" this could be done for a lot less money. Not totally sure yet. I just don't see anything "special" that they are doing. Maybe I am missing it.
