I Tivo'd the show on Speed the other night where they test drove the new Lexus IS350. Not a bad looking or performing car...might be worth a look down the road. Have any of you test driven this Lexus?
Only issue I have with it is that Lexus doesn't offer the 350 with a manual transmission or AWD (only the IS-250 is AWD). Thoughts?

Sat in one... they're nice. Interior is sorta Camryish, not the same as Audi/BMW levels.
Feels smaller than the B7. Needs a manual. Probably a good car and you know Lexus will take care of it properly.

considering performance wise its closer to a B6/7 S4 then the A4 3.2, that is a NO BRAINER imo.
audi interior is stil better, plus you get AWD. everything else===> lexus is350 ties or wins.
actually by closer to i mean...even faster (13.7 at 104mph) then according to mag tests...306 hp with a slushbox beats audi's 340hp with a stick (well compared to the worst of the tests for audi anyway). impressive.

yeah, but that aloen shoudl tell you the is350 gives you mor bang for the buck.
the only things that car needs is
less intrusive VSC and for the purists... a stick shift. AWD would be appreciated too (only on the 250 right now)
