Well, I'm bringing in my car for its first service this Wednesday for its 5000 mile checkup. Along with this, I need to have them fix a leaking windshield washer fluid compartment (probably from getting airborne), the door of my cd changer fell off (still works, just not all covered), and the 1-2 synchro issues causing grinding (double clutching fixes this problem, but how can you expect to win a race by doing that?!). I know the only major issue will be the 1-2 synchro issues so I'll keep you posted on how long they think it will take. I pretty much pour in a little washer fluid and immediately see it dump onto my garage floor. Anyways, if those of you with 1-2 grinding issues have a while to see the dealer, try double clutching during the upshifts from 1-2.
