they also have 3k basket weave carbon tubing avail in 13/16" OD in 48" for $45 costly for a hood prop, but it would def, look th epart on your car.

I thought about going with a carbon tube for the prop rod but I don't want to worry about stress cracks or long term heat damage. Stuff like that. Too many variables to worry about while I have my head under a 12lbs mouse trap =) I can also bend a metal rod if I need to. I would love to go with titanium just for the cool factor but I suppose I can always use aluminum or stainless. Also, what's the projected ship date of the carbon trunk handle??
