Default Looks like I got an engine oil leak

How bad is this?

Also, is this metal bar supposed to be so close to the hose? It's almost cutting off the flow of oil.

Default that just looks like oil from when they change the filter...

but, that hose doesn't look normal. That's constricting the flow of oil!

Default I think it's more than oil from the filter...

There are 2 sizeable stains on my garage floor from that.

Default Not constricting oil. Constricting the flow of coolant to the oil cooler.

Agreed it doesn't look normal to have that bar there like that. Could be coolant that you are leaking it could be a redish brown as it gets older.

Default Agree with me or with Paul?

I actually cleaned it off, and the droplets appeared just a few minutes later.

Default something's not right with that crimped oil line.

I don't remember what mine looks like, but I'm almost certain something is routed incorrectly.
Is that line pressurized much? If so that'll force oil through, but IMO that's still not a good thing to restrict flow.

Default

Definitely oil that's leaking, not coolant

Default Just dropped it off this morning, at 49950 miles :)

I'm surprised I was able to get an appointment with such short notice.
