Default Loose Seat is no big deal?

Seems like everyone eventually gets the loose drivers seat. It just started in my 01/S4 so I search and find 7000+ hits on "Loose Seat". This hasnt come to the attention of Audi or what? You would think this was a safety issue. Just a thought.

Default Audi changed all my brackets for a loose seat problem....

and the problem remained...I think the brackets are just badly engineered...I find it unnacceptable for a car of this stature...

How else can Audi sell the S4 for $39k? Gotta cut costs somewhere.

Default I've found that certain seat positions/settings make it more or less noticable ....

by dropping my seat as low as it will go and raising the seat back up toward a slightly more vertical position, the looseness has completely disappeared. Leaning the seat back in a more "lounging" position seems to cause the seat to be looser and rock slightly under acceleration and braking.

It's not the brackets, it's the seat frame that is broken. Tell the dealer to replace the frame.
