Default Loud exhaust after snow plowing
Scarped my muffler (VM 1) on the snow a lot. In fact I must have plowed with it. When I get on it it's pretty loud on the passenger side near the front of the car. I jacked it up and did a thourough exam and everything looks and feels normal. Could I have broken the downpipe up at the turbo or manifold? Has that ever happened to anyone? Might need those downpipes I ordered sooner.

If you have the car idling ....do you hear air coming from a particular spot in the exhaust assy?

Sounds very normal at idle inside - but I will pop the hood & listen

No no, listen underneath the car. You'll hear where there is an air leak.
