Maf voltage based controller for water injection
I just saw this on snow performance. Thoughts? This is much muuuuuch less expensive than the aquamist set up. It doesn't look to be as accurate or tunable bit still. Wayyyyyy less money.<ul><li><a href="http://snowperformance.net/proddetail.asp?prod=auto031">Linky</a></li></ul>

I think you've covered the key points. Less $$ gets you a less capable system. I think
it depends on what you're planning to do with W/I. If you want to get from it more power, then you need to tune for it, and having a flexible system that can be adjusted is desireable. If you're just looking to keep IAT's in check a simpler system may do the job.
