Default MAJOR PROBLEM

Alright, so today I planned on installing Samco TBB, Samco F Hose, and 710Ns. The 710Ns came off after prying the little clamps for a while. I took off stuff for the TBB as I went along but planned on doing F Hose first. After I got the F Hose off (long time), I realized that the middle finger of it had a plug in it with oil. I had a feeling this was NOT supposed to come off with the F Hose.

After about 30 minutes I got the plug into the Samco F Hose Middle finger. I have NO idea how I am going to get the middle finger into the lower hose though!!! The other fingers of the F Hose won't be hard and hopefully the TBB won't be bad but I have no idea how to get the middle finger with the plug INTO the Hose below (filled with oil). It's very difficult to get decent leverage and it was hard enough to remove. There's a clamp around the hose below too.

PLEASE, can anyone make some suggestions so I can get this stuff done and drive my car again!? Has anyone else experienced this/know what I'm talking about? Thanks!

Default sounds like you pulled the PVC valve... hope you can get it back on... if not....

you would need to pull the whole assembly that the PVC is connected to from the rear. It is connected at the y-pipe, both valve covers and the PVC. Once disconnected, it will pull out from the rear of the engine out from under the intake manifold. not too bad a job, all connections are quick release. you would need to pull your y-pipe, but sounds like you were gonna do that anyway to install te samcos....

Default I had the same problem when installing my MTM F-hose..

I removed the y-pipe and stuck a wire coat hanger through the intake manifold. I was able to loop the middle finger pipe with the hanger and pull it up within reach.
