Which max performance tire should I get for best overall wet & dry (not winter) performance

I got my AVS Sports today. 225-40/18 at 21lbs each.
 

Tire Rack tested these against the Pole Position and the Sp9000. They held up pretty good.

Give 'em 500 miles to get broken in (nt)

500 miles! Are they that bad!? I haven't put them on yet. Please let me know.

Well, maybe 300 but all new tires have to break in (nt)

This is the best bang for the buck super high performance tire available IMO. The Bridgestone S02-PP is modeled after this tire (UNI-T, tread pattern, etc.). Bridgestone bought Firestone to get their technology and all of their recent success comes from Firestone.

I've had my set out to the track a number of times. The grip great in the wet and dry, and wear very well.
