metal "tick tick tick" sound....

exhaustleak? noticed it while idling after a moderate drive....

If it's really loud, it's likely just metal contraction due to cooling in the exhaust. If it's

muffled, it could be valvetrain noise; esp. if you're using 0w-30. I've gone to a mix of 0w-40 and 15w-50 M1 for the summer months! It definitely gives less "ticking" noise vesus the 0w-30 I ran during break-in. I'm not saying go against the viscosity recommendation in the manual, but remember that 15w-50 M1 viscosity at 50 deg. F is less than 5w-30 dino! Too bad M1 doesn't make a 5w-50, but I think the M1 is better than the U.S. Castrol. Europe gets all the good oil.
