Mike (Mike2kS4@PEB) - I have a question regarding your homemade IC spray.
Homemade IC sprayer using OE headlight washer and STi nozzles.
Can you explain how you hooked up the STi nozzles , what part #s they are, and how you are controlling the headlight washer pumps?
p.s.
Happy New Year to all
Thank you
Edy

Answer:
I cut the headlight washer line at the bumper joint and added a large anti-drainback valve plus a T and a pair of reducing nipples(all available in the plumbing dept)leading to a pair of washer hoses to the STi nozzles mounted on the backside of the center-bar foglight mounts.
Electrically I hooked a switch up to the low amperage input of the relay to trigger the headlight washer pump to power the thing. I did buy a kit from Australia and have it soldered together and ready to go, but lack the motivation this time of year.
I'm fairly certain Dave P. did it a simpler way a long time ago by hooking nozzles with integrated anti-drainback valves onto the existing headlight sprayer lines. I think there's a post or maybe a tech article or something on it.
Performance wise: I normally get a 30deg increase in IAT's during a FATS run this drops it down to a 20deg delta with the sprayers. The STi nozzles deliver a nice amount of finely dispersed droplets. It also uses a small amount of water.
I found the nozzles on Ebay for like $16 each.
