Default Minimum space requirement for timing belt maintenace

It's getting to be that time... I have to do the timing belt maintenance on my car. I plan to do this in my garage, and was wondering what the minimum space requirements would be. My garage only affords me about 3 feet in front of the bumper. Will I need more room than that to get the bumper off? I will back the car in so I can open the garage door to get more room if needed, but would like to know if I can do the rest of the work with the garage closed.

Default 3 feet will be tight, but it's possible.

Once you get the bumper off and set it aside, you can remove the core support and swing the condensor aside. Everything is accessable then. If you're between a wall and the car with only 3 feet of space, it's certainly possible, but not if you're a very large man.

Default Thats enough I'd think. Pulled my bumper a few times that way. Would be

betst to back in and open the door for the bumper part as you say imo... more room makes things easier.
