moonroof wont slide into roof put will tilt
is this an easy fix?? also can i do it myself?
for some reason it only slides back about 1 inch then stops.
searched archive couldnt find any real info

Well...
There is a danger it can't close, but you can "help" it by pushing it while it opens and check the tracks for any materials that will cause drag and lube the channels. (last bit for the awot folks).

switch is fubar. Here's what helps me...
it seems the contacts get dirty. So what I do is rapidly cycle the switch all the way open and then close, repeat as necessary. If that doesn't clean them I put a little pressure on it as I turn it. That always does the trick for me, so far. It's gonna fail at some point. I'm on #2 and it's starting to go again. First one way toast about 30k miles so it seems this is a crappy part in general.
