Which is more accurate, KBB or Edmunds?
I'm looking to find the trade-in value on a 2002 S4 sedan, and there's a $2200 difference between the two with the same options/condition adjustment ($30,900 for edmunds, $33,100 for KBB). Does anyone know which is more representative of the market for a completely stock S4, or which the dealers tend to use to calculate trade-in?

KBB or NADA guide.

In my past experience, KBB is inflated (unrealistic)...
however in your particular case, it actually seems about right (depending on how many miles you have on the car). I would go with the higher price...S4 Avants in pristine condition are a rare find. If you have time to find the right buyer, you'll get $33K for it.

Thanks. NADA has nothing for 2002 S4, but 2001 had info.

Well, it's a sedan (not mine) but has VERY little mileage...
So maybe the good price still applies?

Hmm ... $31,500 trade in -- I guess that seems about right.
