If memory serves me right, yep. I thought the 0-60 was low 5s. Quite fast stock.

Default Oh yeah...

...some tests pegged 0-60 sub 5 sec. It is a very lightweight car too.

Too bad Mazda was too lame to keep selling it here. Now they try to pawn of crap like that MP3 car on us as a "performance" car.

Stepping off soap box now...

The RX7 is quite a bit quicked than the S4. I own both a 93rx7 R1 and a 2001 S4. They both have approx. same stock horsepower but rx7 is much lighter than the Audi.

Default Zoom. Zoom. Zoom. :) BTW, I really hate those f'ing commercials. More...

A car company whose best sports car is the frickin' Miata has a lot of ***** to use this as a marketing ploy.

Even if you have to swap the engine every 40-50K, give me back the RX-7!

It is until one of the apex seals blow or one of the rotor housings warp!

Default As a former 3rd gen owner... BIG time is the answer,,,

But the reliability and turbo issues made some cars a mess..

By the numbers - HP a little more thatn the stock S4, weight about 800 lbs less!

The sequential turbos gave an amazing amount of boost, and minor mods gave 300+ hp in a flash..

Want to beat one at a traffic light.. pray for rain (they are a mess in the wet) or hope a vacuum hose falls off

If they still made it, I would have one instead of my S4!

well..the RX-8 is coming soon...and a new RX-7 is rumored to being developed on the same or similar platform. Personally, i hope they build the 626 MPS and bring it here.
