Default Mr. $4shizzle to the white courtesy phone...

Sunday at the car show, there was a car for sale your dad might like: a '48 Chrysler Windsor convertible.

<img src="http://www.speakeasy.net/~danf/Chrysler-vert-rear-quarter.jpg">
<img src="http://www.speakeasy.net/~danf/Chrysler-vert-dash.jpg">
<img src="http://www.speakeasy.net/~danf/Chrysler-vert-seats.jpg">

The flyer had the following info:

1948 Chrysler Windsor (Model C-38) Convertible Coupe
six cylinder flat-head engine
Fluid Drive transmission
Philco 8-tube superheterodyne AM radio
Leather and Bedford Cord interior

Runs well (got here from Oakland)

When the seller wasn't around, some guy who was hanging out nearby said the seller wanted mid-20's. The seller mentioned a '41 Plymouth 'vert (not his) available at Castro Valley Autohaus (or is it Auto House?) that's available. That is in Castro Valley, CA (duh). He was quite willing to pass on more contact info, if that car is more suitable.

Also, there are more pix of the Town &amp; Country in my post right below this one.

Default I watched one crash into the back of a mini-van and pushed it into a camry a couple days ago;*(

It was slammed, black, and had candy red ghost flames... I saw it happen infront of my eyes and I had to turn back and see the damage again. The owner and his gf were both the 'rockabilly' types and he was sitting on the curb with his head in his hands. Poor guy, it was a sick ride.

Default Henderson huh, that's tight. I'm gonna sell my goat and buy a property and a flatbottom soon...

the property is a better investment for now. And I want a sick fast boat! Is WMS gonna sponser the Banks twin turbo kit for it?

Default I was thinking about doing that, buying a motor and tricking it out, and just buying a boat

less motor and dropping my own motor in. Let me know if you come across a cheap ticked out motor like your 383, I'd love to have a BBC with a blower or a banks turbo kit on it...but I know I'm looking at big money. Look at this sweet boat...
