Default MTM/Eibach Spring owners.... Questions...

I have recently added these springs to my S4, with stock shocks.

I am experiencing some 'bounce' in low speed driving situations (60 moh and under).

Let me explain, if I come across a patch of road that was filled in, the car rises up, and then settles quickly. It's like getting lifted off the seat in a rollercoaster type thing.. I would call it a mild case of 'bucking'.

Opinions?

I'm thinnking I need increased dampening, and thus different shocks.

At speeds over 60, less pronounced, and at 80+ the ting is simply magical.

Default It's defnitely stiffer...I do notice the bounce feeling a little but not much

It's just something you're going to run into when you lower your car...did you get the MTM/Eibach springs? I notice it a little bit...but you get used to it with having a lowered car. I'm pretty sure it's called reverse dampening.
2000 Silver/Onyx 6spd, MTM/Eibach Springs, UUC SS, AWE Intake, MTM Exhaust, APR chip

Default THe only way to get it right is to go with the matched set. I have the MTM springs and notice the

bounce. I feel this is the sacrifice over changing to a completely stiffer ride with the Koni shocks that MTM offers. Having said that, I am now seriously considering purchasing the MTM setup and selling my MTM springs and dealing with the much firmer ride (IMO).

Default you don't need to sell your springs they are the same springs that come with the koni shocks!

otherwise I agree with your opinion completely... the car would definitely benefit with more dampening.
00 s4 Silver/Silver

Default Ditto...

See post today. What springs will best match the MTM/Eibach set I just installed. I heard the Koni valves leak eventually. Not that they're a bad shock though.
