Default Sounds about right to me, stock boost is low...

and depending on your boost guage's precision, you might get smaller/larger values than others.

Default A.) Is it colder now where you are? B.) What pressure does your chip make now?

A.) Colder air may have your ECU lower boost as air is denser and can contain the same oxygen/power with less boost.

B.) If your car was trying to achieve 8-9psi, and only making 6-7psi due to a leak (for instance), it would have to be pretty bad since there is still a lot of overhead that the turbo is capable of working harder to meet that demand. If it can't meet that demand, then the issue is quite intense (unlikely). Therefore, if you were to put it in chip'd mode, you would likely still only see 6-7psi (if you had that major issue). If chip'd mode puts you at ~15psi, then all is likely well, and slightly lower boost may be due to temperature conditions.

Default Agree on the colder comment. Had my car running in stock mode this past week - only shows between

6-8 psi (depending on temp). I did check block 115 and actual vs. requested appear to be in check.

Default The ECU regulates engine load which is determined by (among other things) airflow.

Colder air is denser so less boost is required to achieve the same airflow.
