My car won't beep and flash its signals when I lock it all of a sudden.. but it does lock -

check all doors, trunk, hood...something isn't secure if it isn't beeping

given that you haven't recently played around with any settings

that means something is open.. check doors, hood, trunk

Could just be a bad sensor - i.e. the CPU thinks something isn't closed/secure when in fact it is.

IIRC, this has been diagnosed before, but I can't remember for sure exact symptoms. I had my motion sensors go bad and the led by the lock button would not flash rapidly anymore, but I think the lights still flashed and horn muted beep happened upon locking.
