my lidatek earns its paycheck....
I was starting to wonder if my hard earned cash and careful install was worth it...since my lidatek laser jammer hadn't done much lately...
...and then yesterday on the Mass pike....the thing goes off like crazy. I forgot how loud it is....but it put a smile on my face as I drove passed the state trooper lying on the hood of his car aiming his laser at oncoming traffic.
I love this car.

I dont think so...he kept shooting and I drove by.
Alledgedly, it jams for a second or two, and then stops. So if he was still aimed at me, he'd have gotten a reading eventually, just a few seconds later than he would have had I not had the jammer.

It jams for 5 seconds (RTFM ;) Do you also have a detector? If so....
Your laser detector will be screaming at you for as long as he is shooting you. Once the laser gun gets a reading it shuts off, which would silence the detector, so if your detector went silent after the Lidatek shuts off, then he likely got a speed reading on you.

I'm at work...don't have the manual here and couldn't be sure about how long it jams for..
The radar detector's laser sensors aren't on, so I don't know if he eventually got a reading. After five seconds I was past him already.
I'd forgotten how loud that thing is....it definetely proved its worth.
