Default Is my slipping clutch causing my misfires?...

So my clutch has been slipping for a few months now and when I get on it a little too much it feels like the clutch is slipping and the car stumbles a little the CEL blinks rapidly and when the clutch catches the CEL goes solid. I figured the misfires (checked via ECUX) were caused my the slipping clutch but now I'm not sure. Am i totally off base here?

The RS4 clutch lasted 80K and i'm installing a Southbend STG 3 with stock FW. FWIW

Likely not. If you look at VAG blocks 1, 4, 14 at cold startup, what do you see (example at link)?

I lost my VAG cable but i can log that with ECUX. When my clutch went last time at 40K i don't remeber this being an issue. Do you think the "slipping" could be something other than the clutch?

Slipping sounds like clutch, especially if at low RPM high gear WOT. Misfires does not sound like clutch to me.

If the misfires only happen during a cold start then you have a timing or air/fuel ratio issue during warm up cycle. While the car is warming up it does not use its o2 sensors, it uses a pre determined fuel map until the exhaust and everything is at operating temperature.

Besides that I would just double check spark plugs and ignition wire connections. Use the correct temperature rated spark plugs for your car.
