Are my springs sagging? Help!
 

Today i went to the dealer for my second service (14K miles) and i saw another 2000 s4 in the showroom. when they pulled up in my car, i could see that there was a considerable difference in the wheel well gap between my car and the showroom car. the dealers car had what looked like almost 4 inches of gap and my car looks like it has about 2 inches. i have stock springs. anyone know if i should be worried?

You should be happy. No need to buy lowering springs!
 

Your gap sounds about right. Dealer car sounds like it is goofy. Weren't comparing to an AllRoad were you? ;-)

This could explain the difference.
 

Well you cars springs most likely break in after a couple thousand miles so that could account for up to an inch but more importantly the showroom car might still have the rubber blocks that are inserted to compress the spings a bit during the voyage across the pond and this may be what causes the bigger difference in clearance from the tire and the wheel well. This is just a hypothesis on my part and in no way should I be held liable for any damage or injury from my statements. Hope this helps. :)

Two possible explanations....
 

First is that the car simply settled somewhat, as Ramon has suggested. Two inches of settling seems pretty extreme, but that may have something to do with it.

Second, is your car a tip? I heard a while back (December?) that out of the box, tip cars are maybe an inch lower than 6-speeds. Haven't been able to verify this myself (my '01 tip isn't here yet), and I don't know why that should be true, but that may account for some of what you're seeing if your car's a tip.

Ya, it's a tip. I've never heard that before.

The car I was comparing it to was a 6-speed 2000 S4

My car has dropped about 1 inch since new

My 2000 tip is lower(1in.) too , from the start, checked beside other non-tips
