Default n00b coilover install question. Are the upper shock mounts universal or side specific? I assumed

they were universal so i didn't pay attention to which side i put on. it doesn't seem to be matching up well with the lower control arm and I was wondering if this might be why.

basically what I am asking is if it matter which side the coilover is on aside from the mounting plate (which is obviously side specific).

Default They are not side specific

The shock lower fork does however have to be clocked in the correct position for it to line up with the lower control arm. Bentley calls out a degree angle, I think it's like 10° or something like that, when compared to an imaginary line drawn between the top two studs sticking out from the top spring plate.
