need advice: considering a stock 2001.5 w/76K for $12.5K
standard maintenance has been performed.
ignoring mods for now, any suggestions on what maintenance i should factor into the cost for this car for the next year (15K miles)?
- timing belt?
- clutch?
the price seems decent

Re: Location? Only pay that much if it's clean...there are many cheaper S4s (but, few good ones)
the car is in the SF Bay Area. locally purchased and owned. sold by the original owner. including the CL post.
if anyone wants details, email me. i saw the car in person today

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/847806452.html</a

Hmm...I feel that 11-11.5 is a good target...find out if the timing belt service has been done
If not, offer 11...if so, 11.5...
Great opportunity for bipipe, snub mount, ICs if you need to do the TB after all.

I got my stock 2002 S4 with 122k on it for $10k with timing belt done amongst other things
This car was mint when i bought it. I have all the records back to 11 miles and it was a one owner car. The guy spent about $10k in maintainence along the road. New tires and brake pads. Price seemed about right to me. It doesnt sound like youre too far off with the $12k figure.
