Default Need Advise: My Suspension Problem

OK,

Here is the deal, I bought my S4 with a bit of aftermarket work already done to it, mainly 19" Wheels, and Koni/HR Spring Suspension.

The problem is that I'm getting rubbing in the front more and more often, this is partly because the car is riding really low(less than a full inch between the tires and weld), and also because NYC Streets suck.

As I've found out from Koni their one application for the S4 doesn't provide any ride height adjustment and the only way to adjust the height is to change the spring which is currently H&R Sports(about 1.4 drop in front).

Can anyone give me some advise on what can be done? I'm even considering going with stock springs on the Koni's but then there really isn't much benefit in having the Koni's is there. Can anyone give me feedback on the feel of the stock suspension in general?

Thx
Harry

Default You can roll your fenders for a bit of relief . . .

or break out the wallet & get new springs, coilovers, or tires (guessing on this one) to try to make a difference.

push/bend them out so there is more room for the tire.

Default Watch out for the drop, when you do any suspension change, there are usually 2 height adjustments,

the first is the immediate drop, but you car will also "settle". Mine was dropped about 1" initially and settled about another .25". Usually much more noticeable on trucks (friend did his discovery and initially it looked a bit awkward, from the lift, but after a while the lift wasn't as drastic)
