I have 3 engines that will see an engine stand, don't ask, lol. The S4, a 99 Mustang Cobra, and a 54 Chevy project car.

I got an el cheapo engine stand from pep boys and put the s4 engine on it and cringed as the stand flexed. I returned the thing immediately.

Since i am definitly going to use it more than once i don't want to cheap out too much on it. I've got a $300 limit as that seems the price point for decent geared stands.

I'm looking at these 2 stands and want to see if you guys have any suggestions. I'm open to other options outside of these 2.

Both look good. Go for the one with the higher weight rating and larger rollers.

It appears to be identicle to this ansi certified atd stand
