Need help with auto detailing info. Here's the scoop... More>>>
I'm washing my father's white truck to sell but my problem is that he hasn't washed it in several years (possibly since 1999). When he purchased it I gave him several protective items to keep the car in somewhat good condition: bed rail guards, bed liner, bug deflector, etc. Those items did a great job protecting the body and paint but the turck is f'ing filthy.
What can I use to take out tar and dried bugs that I don't need to scrub too hard? Also, there is a film of brown filth all over the truck. If I scrub very hard it comes off but is there a better way??
Has anyone ever used Greased Lightning grease remover mixed into car soap? It says nothing about it ruining a car's clear coat and I figure an engine compartment is the same as the exterior.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
