need help......clutch im guessing!
when im driving and accelerate hard my RPM's jump up, but car doesnt go any faster, then the RPM's drop and car begins to go! been happening a lil' every now and again! but now today, car barely accelerates at all! im guessing my clutch isnt grabing or my pressure plate or something, i dont really know **** about clutches! if this is the case! what am i looking at money wise to fix?????? i might as well do a RS4 clutch and flywheel right if i have to spend the money anyways! RIGHT??? i need feedback!

it doe sound like a clutch. Also RS4 is not really a good clutch for the money. The clutches
that vast have are great from what i hear. Also i have heard great things about clutchmaster(talk to WMS). Just dont get a spec

yep the clutch is going . how many miles on it ?
the best bang is an rs4 clutch (~475$) and resurfaced flywheel from piggie - vast (see my poster)
CM is also great (~800$ iirc) , and a little more aggressive.
you are looking @ 600-800 $ in labor alone.

tj: I tried copying the video to regular vhs tape this afternoon for you...
I didn't work...I taped it in wide-screen format on the Digital cam-corder, and it won't convert to regular vhs format. I suck at teh taping.
I can put it on a cd-rom for you, but it will not have audio because the video converter I have sucks! I'd send you the digital tape, but it has videos of my 2 yr. old on it so, no go.
I know...I know...pretty lame...still working on it.
