I was driving on the highway and shifted into 4th When it grinded... so i put the car into 5th instead... i went back into 4th to make sure it did not grind again (it did not). So im starting to coast off an off ramp and come to a stop light.
Now the car wont go into first or second but will go into any other gear...

THis has happend before where i have grinded 3rd and the car wouldent go into first or second for around 5 min then would suddenly work again like nothing happend.

I let the car cool down on the side of the road and try it again , still nothingi start pushing the car so i can coast down a hill and get to a parking lot , i can get into 2nd when the cars rolling.


So after all this i drive the car all the way home in 3rd gear blowing all red lights and finally make it home. I start goiung up and down my hill trying to see wahts going on. for a second i got into first form a very slow roll and 2nd i could also get into and they are driveable.

I just dont see this being a transmission issue over a linkage issue because of me being able to get into the gear time to time and it being driveable.
ANy suggestions

I would check the clutch cylinders for leaks, fluid level, and bleed it if necessary...
