Default NEED HELP from you all who has blue interior~~!!!!

I place an order for Nogaro S4 last weekend with blue interior.
The salesman called me today and he gave advise to choose other color for the interior, because the material they use on blue isn't very durable. so please please give me some feed back.

Thank you

thats not accurate. this is a well travelled subject in the group, to my knowledge, nobody with alcantera has had complaints about durability.<p>

Default Had my S4 with Alcantara for 9 months.......

No sign of wear-looks absolutely new. Spilled orange Gatorade on it once. The liquid just beaded up and I soaked it right up with a rag. That salesperson knows about as much as most salespeople -nothing. And....while we're on the subject of car dealers, why is it that they often treat you like you know nothing, and they are the supreme beings of the universe. I was recently speaking with a salesperson at an Audi dealership and they were trying to be "just so cool and with it". They talked about how they always check out the "A4.org" website. I didn't mention to him that the name has been changed to "Audiworld" for many months now. My apologies to the few great dealerships out there that actually do know something about the cars they sell. Unfortunately, they are in the minority.

Default That's a load of crap. The dealer probably has an S4 without it and wants to get rid of it...

Alcantara is extremely durable. Its used in Ferrari's, other supercars I can't remember because I haven't had my coffee, and in couches that are way too expensive for me (I know, I almost bought one...)

Get it, don't sweat it, and realize that your salesman is just that -- a salesman, and anything that comes out of his mouth is suspect.

Default They're a salesperson. Its their nature.

They have to act arrogant and more knowledgeable than you because you're the one with the good job, making enough money to buy an S4. Otherwise they'd go home and night and cry.

The sad thing is that most people who buy cars go into it so woefully unprepared that the salesperson's schtick works.
