Need to post as separate message: On issue of Hoppen customer service...
I have delt with them on about 20 different occasions and asked for some things, other tuners would not even consider doing. I can summorize my experience with them as constructive and reliable cooperation. Definetly, nothing to rave about, but not that bad as some people trying to present.
What I noticed and liked about Hoppen that they don't try to sell you product no mattter what. They offered good technical advise insted. They also never gave me empty promises like "shipping today" - I have heard many times from other smooth talking salesman type "tuners".
I have to agree that their website could be better, as well as : there is always a room for improvement in customer service.
Strangely but, my experience with other supposedly excellent tuners, was average. In one case I found myself chasing some missing parts for weeks. My order was not shipped ontime in the other, etc
Last thing: I am not associated with Hoppen in any respect and above is just my opinion.

Hmmm, do you walk into their shop? Do they tell you, you are wasting their time?
Or is this via email and you actually received a response. One good post thru hundreds of not so swell, is hard to swallow, unless they are changing some things over there

I don't have it yet, but it will be a spec miata
I rented one a few weeks ago at Laguna to see if everything I'd read about them is true, and it is - they're a joy to drive on the track, although a few more, or two hundred more, hp would be nice
I've found a builder near Boston and will be renting one of theirs for the Lime Rock PDA event in a couple of weeks. If that goes well and I like those folks, I'll buy one from them. It's possible I'll have it for May 8 at Pocono (you'll be there, right?). Now if I could just sell this damn audi...

Laguna Seca
I'm in the Bay Area a lot, so I went down there for the first miata test drive (the Tracquest event March 1-2). Briefly discussed in this thread. Heh, I'm there/here now, or I wouldn't be checking AW at this hour!
What a great track. Must be nice living close to it.
