Need serious help: Fuse 31 keeps blowing
I originally ventured into the fuse box to discover why my reverse lamps, homelink, and auto-dimming mirrors don't work.
I though I found the problem at fuse #31 when I discovered it was blown. I popped in a new 15amp fuse, turned the key, and the thing blew right away.
The manual says the only devices on that fuse the tail lights, Cruise control, & the automatic transmission (I'm MT), however, my tail lights do work and I know my homelink, reverse lamps, and the auto-dimming mirrors do not work.
This is a fairly recently problem. I know my reverse lights worked at least a month ago.
Anyone have any ideas for what I should check next? I need your help.

YES! With the tails disconnected the fuse holds and the homelink comes back to life!!!
Now what next? Hook up one tail at a time and see if it holds?
What should I look for?

Update: Putting the trans into reverse is what blows it.
I did another test with both tails still disconnected.
I put the key in the on position and put the trans in reverse. I heard a little pop and sure enough fuse #31 blew. It's definitely a revser issue.
Is the reverse switch located on the transmission?
I had a RNS-E installed serveral weeks ago and I know the reverse wire was tapped into by the club pedal. I wonder if that has something to do with this.
