Default Need some help on deciding which brake pads to go with!

I need to change the front and rear pads. I have the StopTech 355 in the front and going with the Audi S8 Rear Brake Conversion setup in the back.

What brake pads do you guys recommend for the REARS w the Audi S8 Rear Brake Conversion and FRONT for the StopTech 355?

I have been doing some searching and it looks like most people like the DS2500 Street/Track for the rears and Axxis Ult Street pads for the fronts.

I track 1-2 times a year and drive the car aggressively on streets.

TIA

Here are my options:
Hawk HPS - High Performance Street
Hawk HP-Ultra
Hawk Ceramic - Performance Street
Axxis Ult Street pads
DS2500 Street/Track

Default I'd go w/ Hawk HPS all around or Ferodo DS2500 all around if you can...

Might want to try Carbotech Bobcats all around too...

I have HPS- 25k miles (probably 5k left), 2-3 light track days, great street pads.

Default HPS are fine...DS2500 can be squeaky but the only ones I heard, I suspect were DS3500 because they

were incredibly grippy and noisy for a street pad so I think they were used by mistake. I could be wrong though and if so, yes they can be noisy.

Default NO!! on the Carbotech Bobcats!! They are the WORST pads I have ever driven on!!

Super noisy, no initial bite, fades at the first touch of the pedal etc.. I have bedded them in 3 times already with no change. If anyone wants 1,000 mile old bobcats for free let me know! I am sticking with HPS's from now on, now that is an awesome brake pad!! (rant over)

Default Just on stock brakes but thumbs up to the HPS's....

Not sure what was in the car when I bought it but I am guessing OEM's for the fact the original owner had all service done at the dealer. I have noticed a huge improvement in spirited street driving, with the old pads I would start to get some fade but the HPS's hold up just fine. If they start to make noise just go out and romp on them....:-)

Cheers,
Jim
