Neuspeed is still a couple of weeks out for their '01 shifters...
Last I heard at least. People who had their shifters for the A4 and early S4 seem to like them alot.
You can go Tanoga or UUC. Tanoga is 50% reduction. UUC is 20-30-40% adjustable. I think you've felt my short shifter. That was the UUC @ 40%.
If you go Tanoga, send me an email. If not, you can buy my UUC so I can get a Tanoga.

I like Neuspeed SS too for my 6/00 built 2001 S4. (m)
It was notchy at first but it's great now. I like the short throws and it's also 1" shorter in height compared to stock. IMO it's well worth the price.

It is awesome...
I have one on my 07/00 build. I like better than Tanoga or UUC. The shifter is actually shorter in the console--the others are about the same height.

What is your build date on your '01?
There was a shifter change around 01/01 or so.
I met up with Reymund last night and checked his shifter. Although he has an '01 model year car, his build date is 11/00 and has the "old" style shifter.
