Default New 02 s4 6spd. owner. Have performance question?
My s4 has 15,000 miles and floored it on the highway and some gray smoke came out the exhaust. It wasn't a lot , is this normal?

When this happened I was passing an Accord going about 50mph, my s4 didn't feel to fast at this speed. I think I was in 4th gear. Is this a slow gear or something because it didn't accelerate to good?

3rd would be better, but 4th shouldn't feel too slow...it should pick up pretty nicely.

Some grey smoke is normal. Cars run rich at WOT.

Default yeah, what they said. 2nd tops out just above 60 right? so you should have been in 3rd, not 4th
4th would take longer to get to the turbos' sweet spot
