Default New Instrument cluster help. Ok, long story short, I have new Instrument cluster

that was put in a car for three days and the car was totaled.

The Display Module was programmed to 42,000 miles when it was put in. I am being told that a program/software called "Tac Pro" or something like that can change the odometer reading as many times as you want.

Is there any truth behind this? Also, if I put this in and can't changed the miles what happens when I go to get it registered etc.? TIA-

For some reason, I couldn't comprehend a single sentence in your post. Might be my fault though. lol

I was told that you have 100km to set the mileage on a new cluster but it's permanent.

Default I believe that when I got my new cluster, the dealer was able to set it but it was one-time and the

mileage could only go up, not down.

Default That's what I thought. My mechanic told me they have

stickers made for this exact situation. It does in the door jam for the next time I get the car registered. I am guessing this will be my answer. Thanks all.

That might be another way although I definitely do not have that sticker.
