Default New mods: Porsche 993 Turbo brake rotors and H&R / Bilstein setup

So far, I think this is be best bang for the buck when it comes to necessary mods for the S4. The 993tt rotors were clearly lighter than stock and the vents are massive. They fit nicely under the oem brakes, you can *always* find these parts and perhaps I'll upgrade to the big red calipers as well one day b/f I do power upgrades.

I will let you know if they hold up on the track; the only caveat is, I have Mintex Reds on.

I didn't need adjustability so I'm very pleased with the H&R/Bilstein set up, which measured 25.5" f and 25 3/8" r. The ride is better than stock and there's very little body roll.

I got all of this stuff from ecs tuning, the custom hats they made are very high quality.

Many thanks to Steve S. and Audiboy for getting this stuff in - you guys rock!

Default How much are the rotors again? I thought it was $650 for the rotors

that really isn't bang for the buck, right?
I know the OEM rotors will warp at the track, but do the Porsche rotors really cost effective?
Sorry for being a little skeptical, but $ is a factor for me. Please educate me.

Default Who else makes stock size rotors for the S4?

Default There are Colemans, Alcons, and APR (coleman oems?)

All over 800 for the fronts. Stesis sells the alcons. I hear Brembo is working on them....and Porterfield has them in development too.

The Problem? F'n Audi won't release spec for aftermarket sales....4Rings still screwing us on anti-aftermarket tactics.

1/2 of the cost is for the custom aluminum hat, the porsche rotors cost ~$165 thereafter.
